The Ariados Twins (also known as Andre N' Spix) are two Ariados that hatched on the same day of December 22, and was known in their hometown for being rascals but baskets of joy simultaneously.
Andromeda (Andre for short) is a female Ariados and the twin sister of Spix. She is the only female in the bug tribe but also the smartest of the group, making multiple decision for them to get the group out of many troubles. She is the same, common read with a symmetrical musical marking on her back instead of a scary face. Her black stripes are instead of pale white as well as the markings on her black legs. She is always wearing a headband that has a butterfree icon in the middle.
Andre has a strong, caring and understanding personality, always knowing when to attack a mon or when to help them. She is seen making most of the decisions out of the team and can stand up to fights all day long, as long as she doesn't have a type weakness. She cares a lot for the younger and smaller ages due to her traumatic past and not wanting that to spread to others.
Andre has only appeared once in the story when Snaps and Blossom were scaling the Great Canyon when Blossom fainted to a rampant Tauros. There, Andre encountered Snaps and attempted to take her down but realized Snaps didn't have any confidence to defend herself. Taking pity and her morals, Andre decides to help Snaps, bringing Snaps to her team and introducing them along with helping Blossom Recover. The troop sang the Melody of the Echoing Great Canyons which was sung to the melody of the [Great Canyon Theme].
Before they let Team Arcane go to the top and heading out for food, Andre gave Snaps some advice that would later be important in future time, to keep running till' you meet your goal, and to work hard to win, hence her quote above. After pushing Snaps to promise to rid the world of the disasters, they let them go and meet Xatu.
During the Uprising of the Calamites, Andre was a Spinarak at the time and was helping her mother find a specific rock in the canyon. Suddenly an earthquake happened and her mother shouted for Andre to step back as a loose rock ledge falls upon Venomtracker, squishing her to death. Ever since, Andre has never wanted to stand under any form ever again and always avoided the shade.
